FLI Announces Limited Time Offer on Select CCD Cameras
LIMA, New York (August 22, 2009) - Finger Lakes Instrumentation (FLI) announced
today a special limited time offer in the retail cost of two of their most popular cameras,
the MicroLine ML16803, and the MicroLine ML09000.
"This is a great opportunity for the scientific community to add or upgrade to a lownoise,
high-speed, compact CCD camera" said Greg Terrance, General Manager at
FLI. "In this case, our high volume purchasing allows us to offer an exceptional CCD
camera at a surprisingly low price. The time could not be better for someone interested
in a new cooled CCD camera. The MicroLine has been in production for several years
and offers a remarkable value considering its robust track record."
The MicroLine ML16803 and ML9000 cameras are based around the Kodak KAF-
16803 and KAF-09000 sensors. As standard equipment both cameras feature FLI's
proprietary RBI Annihilator (anti-ghosting technology) that eliminates residual bulk
images from the sensor, as well as the built-in Anti-dew technology that eliminates the
potential for dew to form on the outside of the camera window due when the camera is
subject to high humidity environments.
FLI's MicroLine line of cameras are well known for their superior cooling (to -50C below
ambient with air cooling, -60C with liquid cooling), fast download speed (8 Mhz @ 16
bit resolution), compact size (3.7 x 3.7 x 5in.) in a 2.5 pound package.
Pricing for the ML16803 and ML09000 will be reduced to $8875 for United States
customers, a reduction of over $1100 off the current retail price. International
customers will pay only $9320. This special limited time offer will be in effect from April
22, 2009 to July 31, 2009.
